Amherst
East/North Pleasant St. Paving
Reclamation and paving of East Pleasant Street and North Pleasant Streets from Triangle Street to Amity Street is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 6, 2009.
Construction work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No parking will be allowed on either side of the street during construction work. One half of the street will be passable while the other half of the street will be closed to traffic. Detours will be in place and will vary according to construction work. Please obey construction signs during all phases of work to insure your safety and the safety of construction crews and the general public.
If there is inclement weather that precents construction, the schedule will move to the next day.
Easthampton
East Street Construction
Construction continues on the I-91 overpass on East Street. Lanes are shifted. Expect light congestion. Starting May 26th, East Street will be closed Tuesday-Thursday from 10PM until 6AM. Seek alternate routes.
Bridge Construction
Construction continues on the I-91 overpass on East Street between exits 17 and 18. Lanes are split.
